What kinds of hair loss treatments are available at dermatology clinics? 😗

 

Lately, it seems like the hair on the crown of my head has thinned compared to before, so I am thinking of getting a hair loss consultation at a dermatology clinic.

I am curious whether dermatologists usually only prescribe hair loss medication, or if they also perform scalp examinations, injections, or laser treatments.

 

I looked it up and saw methods like scalp injections, mesotherapy, PRP, and low-level lasers in addition to medication. Are these treatments commonly performed at dermatology clinics? Haha. When I went to a scalp care shop before, they didn't do injections... but they did a lot of regular therapies!!

I am also curious about what tests are performed on the first visit and in what order treatment usually begins.
