I am trying to decide whether to use hair loss medication or topical medication.

I'm worried about hair loss.
I have thin hair, so it looks even thinner.
The lines on both sides of my forehead look thinner than before.
The sides of my bangs are getting thinner, and when I look in the mirror, the front looks sparse, like M-shaped hair loss.
Should I take hair loss medication?
I heard there are topical medications available, but I'm wondering which one I should try.
