I don't have hair loss, but it's good to take preventative measures in advance.
I went to a specialized hair loss clinic to receive scalp care as part of preventive management.
I am so satisfied that I am sharing this review.
First, when you arrive at the shop, fill out the chart.
There were quite a few questions to check, but since it was a process to check the condition of my scalp before the treatment, I felt that it was thorough.
My scalp tends to have a lot of oil and dead skin cells because I have suffered from seborrheic dermatitis and skin inflammation in the past.
I tend to get pimples on my scalp occasionally, so there have been a few times when they got worse because I kept touching them with my hands.
Also, perhaps because we are transitioning from summer to autumn these days, my hair has been falling out way too much, so I really wanted to get some scalp care.
Once the chart is finished, I take a picture of the scalp condition.
I was surprised because I saw something white on the screen even though I had washed my hair before going! But I was relieved when the therapist told me that what looked white wasn't dandruff but dead skin cells, and that everyone has that amount if you zoom in.
Still, since I have an oily scalp, I was told there is sebum and dead skin cells here and there.
The next step was getting a scalp massage, and it was really refreshing.
After the massage, a scalp pack that helps soothe the scalp and exfoliate dead skin cells is thoroughly applied, followed by a moisturizing steam treatment.
The white stuff you see in the photo is steam.
Steam rises up from the machine in billowing bubbles like this.
It was nice and warm๐๐ป
After that, I get a full scalp scaling treatment.
They massaged my scalp with a brush-like machine and applied an ampoule between my hair strands.
The therapist said it might hurt a little, but it didn't hurt at all and felt refreshing.
If it's to prevent hair loss, you have to endure the pain during the care, haha.
Once the scaling is finished like this, move to a different room and get steamed again.
Once the steam is finished, you will receive a shampoo, and the care will be complete.
It's perfect since it even washes your hair, right?
Drying is self-service, but when I went to the changing room, I found a curling iron and a hair dryer available.
The hair comb was in a dedicated sterilizer!
Using a comb that someone else has used can feel a bit unsettling in a way, but it seemed like they paid attention to even the smallest details.
After drying my hair, I take a picture of my scalp again.
It's to see the before and after difference.
The top is after / the bottom is before.
After receiving the treatment, the dead skin cells have definitely decreased, and my scalp looks moisturized and clean!
Honestly, itโs hard to prevent hair loss with home care alone. I do use shampoos that are effective for preventing and stopping hair loss, but itโs difficult to see dramatic results from shampoo alone. Looking at the photos of my scalp, I felt that I made the right decision to come here for hair loss prevention care.
And the salon gave me tips on how to prevent hair loss: washing your hair every day helps reduce shedding, so it is good to wash it daily, and making sure to comb your hair at least once a day.
They also told me that hair loss is closely related to immunity, so managing immunity is essential.
Since hair loss is difficult to manage once it starts, I plan to consistently prevent and manage it from before it even begins!
