[Concern/Question] Menopause is coming soon.
I'm also experiencing all the premenopausal and postmenopausal symptoms that everyone else goes through... It's tough. ㅠㅠ
There are quite a few cysts in my uterus, which is common among modern women. So, I am regularly checked to see if they are growing.
Irregular menstrual cycles are common, and there is some bleeding for several days even when it's not the menstrual period.
My lower abdomen is unusually protruding, heavy, dull pain, sometimes stabbing sharply—these are not even difficult things to endure.
The hardest thing for me to endure is the constant cycle of being so hot that I sweat profusely, then suddenly feeling so cold that I get goosebumps.
My primary item when sleeping at night is the fan remote control. My spouse says it's not hot, so I can't turn on the air conditioner for the whole room, and I just point the fan in my direction and fall asleep.
I keep waking up soaked in sweat three or four times overnight, fumbling for the remote to turn on the fan, then falling asleep again when it cools down, only to wake up again. My sleep quality is really suffering. I wonder when this pattern will end...
However, I hear that most women experience this as well. If anyone has easily overcome it, please share your method. Haha
And another thing is that once I start to find farming or physical labor difficult, my body swells up. The swelling appears suddenly and mostly affects my eyelids, fingers, and so on. Then, after resting for two or three days, the swelling subsides completely and disappears.
I am not sure if this is one of the symptoms before or after menopause or if it is due to another reason. According to the health checkup, everything was very normal...
I would be grateful if everyone who has successfully overcome menopause and those of us going through this period could share some wisdom.
