Joshua said, "I ate in the order of dietary fiber, protein, and carbohydrates," and "People avoid carbohydrates when dieting, but I made sure to include carbohydrates in my meals."

According to a study by the Cornell University research team in the United States, the group that first consumed dietary fiber and then ate proteins and carbohydrates consumed fewer calories and felt less tempted by high-fat or fried foods compared to the group that did not follow this order. Dietary fiber takes a long time to digest, so eating it first can prevent sudden increases in blood sugar. When blood sugar rises slowly, it is less likely to cause hunger. The reason for consuming protein before carbohydrates is that protein is less easily converted into fat and provides a greater sense of satiety.
