I want to lose weight, but I often eat out 😱😱... Which food should I choose? 🤔🤔

There are people who find it difficult to diet due to frequent dining out at the end of the year. However, if you look carefully, there are dining options that are high in protein or low in carbohydrates, which can help with dieting. Here are five dining-out menus that are good to eat during a diet.

 

Grilled chicken = Fried chicken uses a large amount of oil, resulting in high fat and calorie content. In contrast, grilled chicken is cooked without oil, so its calorie content is not significantly high. According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, 200g of fried chicken has about 530 kcal, while 200g of grilled chicken contains only 308 kcal. Furthermore, the skin of fried chicken contains mostly liver and seasonings, and is also high in trans fats, which increase inflammation, LDL cholesterol, and triglyceride levels in the body.

 

▷Beef=Beef contains vitamins necessary for fat burning and creatine that helps improve muscle strength, making it suitable for a diet plan. In particular, the rump meat located on the inside of the upper thigh of the cow has very little fat and a lot of lean meat, making it good for dieting. The calorie content of 100g of rump meat is 132kcal, and it contains 22.3g of protein, making it relatively high in protein. The rump meat, which is shaped like a red bean and located inside the cow's hind leg, is also a good cut to eat during dieting. The calorie content of rump meat is 128kcal per 100g, with 22.88g of protein. Among the 32 parts of a cow, rump meat has the lowest calorie content and the highest protein, allowing for easy consumption during a diet.

 

▷Salmon sashimi = According to the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), salmon contains 120 kcal of calories, 0g of carbohydrates, 3.8g of fat, and 20g of protein per 100g, making it helpful for low-carb, high-protein diets and weight loss. Salmon contains DHA (a type of omega-3 fatty acid), which not only keeps blood vessels healthy but also prevents dry eyes. DHA also helps develop brain cells and improves memory and learning ability. The tartar sauce served with salmon sashimi contains mayonnaise, which is high in fat, so it is better to remove and eat it.

 

Taco = Tacos are a traditional Mexican dish made by filling tortillas with various ingredients such as meat, seafood, vegetables, and cheese. They are rich in dietary fiber and protein, making them filling. The taco shell, made from whole wheat flour, contains a lot of fiber and has a mild flavor. The quercetin in onions used in tacos helps regulate blood sugar levels and lowers blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Tomatoes are rich in antioxidants and are good for controlling blood sugar and blood pressure. Adding guacamole to tacos makes for a hearty meal. Guacamole is made from mashed avocados mixed with chopped onions and tomatoes, and it contains a large amount of unsaturated fatty acids. Unsaturated fatty acids help lower cholesterol levels, promote blood circulation, and prevent vascular diseases.

 

▷Pasta = The main ingredient of pasta noodles, 'durum wheat,' has a higher protein content compared to other grains. Durum wheat's protein content is about 13-16%, which is twice that of rice. The coarse particles of durum wheat tend to break down slowly during digestion, resulting in carbohydrates being absorbed into the body gradually. Thanks to this, blood sugar levels rise slowly. When ordering pasta delivery, it is recommended to choose oil-based or tomato-based pasta over rosé or cream pasta, which contain more sugar. Olive oil has the effect of lowering blood cholesterol levels and reducing the risk of cancer. Additionally, tomatoes used in tomato pasta are rich in lycopene, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for health.
