According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the nationwide morning low temperatures will range from -12°C to 1°C, and the daytime high temperatures will range from 0°C to 8°C, which are similar to or lower than average.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in major regions are predicted as follows: Seoul -6 to 2°C, Incheon -6 to 1°C, Suwon -8 to 2°C, Chuncheon below -11 to 2°C, Gangneung below -3 to 5°C, Cheongju -5 to 3°C, Daejeon -6 to 4°C, Sejong -5 to 3°C, Jeonju -4 to 4°C, Gwangju -2 to 4°C, Daegu -4 to 6°C, Busan -3 to 7°C, Ulsan -3 to 6°C, Changwon -3 to 6°C, Jeju 4 to 7°C.
Across the country, it will be clear, but the west coast of Chungnam and Jeolla region will have many clouds, and Jeju Island will be generally cloudy.
In the metropolitan area, the minimum morning temperatures are expected to be around -6°C in Pyeongtaek, -9°C in Uijeongbu, -6°C in Bucheon, -5°C in Anyang, -9°C in Yongin, and -8°C in Ganghwa, with temperatures dropping to about -12°C in Paju, Yangju, Yeon and Pocheon, and Gapyeong.
The daytime high temperature was observed to be between 0 and 3 degrees Celsius depending on the region, and with the wind blowing, the perceived temperature will feel even colder, slightly lower than the average year.
The fine dust concentration is expected to be at a "good" level nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
The sea waves are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
The offshore wave heights are expected to be 2.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the South Sea.
