According to research from Harvard School of Public Health, drinking 2 to 4 cups of coffee a day stimulates the release of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which help prevent depression and can reduce the suicide rate by about 50%.

7. Coffee especially reduces skin cancer risk in women.

Researchers from Brigham University and Harvard Medical School have found through a 20-year follow-up study of 112,897 men and women that women who drink three or more cups of coffee a day have a lower incidence of skin cancer compared to women who do not.

8. Coffee reduces the risk of developing diabetes.

According to research by the American Chemical Society, people who drink more than four cups of coffee a day have a 50% reduced risk of developing diabetes. Drinking additional cups beyond four further decreases the risk by 7% each.

Drinking coffee helps maintain long-term brain health.

A study conducted in South Florida / Miami University revealed that participants aged 65 and older with high blood caffeine levels experienced a delay of approximately 2 to 4 years in the onset of Alzheimer's disease. Neuroscientist Chanhai Kuo stated, "While drinking coffee cannot prevent Alzheimer's disease, it can reduce the risk or delay its onset."
