What is chronic inflammation? The inflammatory response that occurs in our body can be broadly divided into two types.

If acute inflammation helps our body, chronic inflammation harms it. As the name suggests, chronic inflammation has a longer course compared to acute inflammation. It often occurs without common symptoms such as pain, redness, impaired function, swelling, or warmth that are typical in acute inflammation.

Acute inflammation, known as the "good inflammation," is a natural response when our body fights disease. On the other hand, chronic inflammation, which persists for a long time in various organs and blood vessels without noticeable symptoms and is considered "bad inflammation," can cause aging and disease, gradually leading to our death, so it should be prevented as much as possible.

 

If you're wondering, "How is my body doing?" you can quickly find out your level of chronic inflammation through a blood test, but you can also get a rough idea by checking a few checklists.

Let's check how many of the following 10 items apply to you.

 

The nails tend to break easily.

The skin is dry and prone to frequent troubles.

He is severely obese with a high body weight.

I tend to enjoy alcohol and cigarettes.
