"My stomach has become flatter"... Drinking this beverage every day was the secret?

 

A woman in her 60s in the UK shared her secret to relieving abdominal bloating.

He experienced persistent abdominal bloating over the past few years. His stomach was so swollen that it looked like he was pregnant. He avoided fatty foods and practiced a gluten-free diet, but there was no significant change. Later, he discovered that the cause was coffee. He stopped drinking coffee and carbonated beverages. Instead, he chose peppermint tea. After drinking peppermint tea daily, he gradually noticed his stomach becoming flatter.

He said, "Peppermint tea helped alleviate bloating and indigestion symptoms." The photos he shared clearly showed a difference before and after drinking the peppermint tea.

However, peppermint can decrease milk production, so it is advisable to avoid consumption during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Additionally, patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease should be cautious, as symptoms may worsen.

 

There is another tea that helps break down fat. It is green tea. The catechins that give green tea its astringent taste interfere with fat production and inhibit the absorption of fat into the body. In fact, studies in Korea show that green tea helps both men and women reduce waist circumference, and women who frequently drink green tea have a more than 16% lower risk of metabolic syndrome. According to a team led by Professor Shin Sang-a of the Department of Food and Nutrition at Chung-Ang University, women who drink at least one cup of green tea a day have a 16% lower risk of abdominal obesity compared to women who do not drink green tea. The risk of developing metabolic syndrome decreases by 22% in women under 53 and by 16% in women over 53 who enjoy drinking green tea.

 

💥As expected, I need to cut down on coffee and carbonated drinks.

 

👍 I don't drink coffee frequently, only decaffeinated, about 2-3 times a week, and I hardly drink soda. I have peppermint tea at home, so I should drink it. 😁
