1. Sleep supplementation
On weekends, many people sleep in to make up for lost sleep. However, sleeping excessively in a single day can actually disrupt the sleep cycle and make the body feel even more tired.
If you sleep about 5 hours less on weekdays, it is better to compensate by sleeping an extra 2 hours each on Saturday and Sunday mornings and adding 30-minute naps. Naps should be completed before 3 PM to avoid affecting evening sleep.
Half-body bath
Half-body baths help relax the body and alleviate stress. Soak your body in water at a temperature of 37 to 39 degrees Celsius, which is close to body temperature, for 15 to 20 minutes. After the bath, be sure to drink plenty of water to replenish fluids. However, if you have a history of cardiovascular disease, it is advisable to avoid half-body baths.
3. Meditation
Not only the body but also the brain, which is exhausted during the week, needs to be relieved of fatigue. Meditation helps to alleviate mental fatigue. During meditation, it is important to let go of distracting thoughts and focus on the present. Sit upright, breathe slowly, and continue for 10 to 15 minutes.
