Did you receive the safety message?
If the "Training Alert" is issued at 2:15 PM, you can leave the shelter, maintain alertness, and proceed, and when the alert is lifted around 2:20 PM, you can return to normal activities.
You will hear siren sounds again, but please don't be too surprised~

Civil defense drills to strengthen the public's response capabilities in the event of air raids such as missile provocations will be conducted nationwide starting today (22nd) from 2 PM.
If a "Training Air Raid Alert" is issued exactly at 2:00 PM, citizens must immediately evacuate to the nearest civil defense shelter, and if there is no shelter nearby, they should evacuate to a safe underground space.
Civil defense shelters are designated at over 70,000 locations nationwide, including apartment basements, subway stations, and underground shopping centers, and their locations can be checked on the National Disaster Safety Portal, Safety Stepping Stone App, Naver, Kakao, and Tmap.
At 2:15 PM, when the 'Training Alert' is issued, you can leave the shelter, maintain a state of alert, and proceed. When the alert is lifted around 2:20 PM, you can return to normal activities.
During the 20 minutes of training, you can receive guidance on the training situation and public behavior instructions through the live broadcast of 'KBS Radio 1'.
In addition to evacuation drills, vehicle movement control training will be conducted to ensure vehicle occupants safely evacuate during air raid situations and to secure passageways for emergency vehicles, along with actual emergency vehicle operation training.
When a 'training air raid alert' is issued, the traffic signals in the training section will operate with flashing red lights for 5 minutes, and traffic will be controlled.
Drivers within the control zone stop their vehicles on the right side of the road and receive training instructions through the radio from inside the vehicle.
In Seoul, a total of three sections are restricted: from Sejong-daero intersection to Sungnyemun intersection, from Gupabal intersection to Parkseokgogae intersection, and from Dobongsan Station to Dobong Station intersection.
In addition, metropolitan cities conduct training on three or more road sections, and cities and counties on at least one section. These sections can be confirmed on the websites of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and local governments.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety stated that this civil defense drill is "a training for citizens to protect their valuable lives and property," and asked for active interest and participation, even if there are inconveniences such as vehicle restrictions.
In this training, the 24 areas declared as special disaster zones due to last month's heavy rain damage are excluded.
There are nine areas at the city and county level: Yeongdong County and Okcheon County in Chungbuk, Nonsan City and Seocheon County, Geumsan County, Buyeo County in Chungnam, Wanju County and Iksan City in Jeonbuk, and Andong City in Gyeongbuk.
There are 15 areas at the town, township, and neighborhood level, including Geising-dong in Seo-gu, Daejeon, and Jusan-myeon and Misan-myeon in Boryeong-si, Chungnam.
