111.5mm in one hour... Extreme heavy rain, 119 reports in Chungnam, 835 cases in 5 hours

On the early morning of the 10th, heavy rain poured down, and over 800 emergency calls were received in the Chungnam region within five hours. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, in Seocheon County, Chungnam, from 2:16 a.m. to 3:16 a.m., 111.5mm of rain fell in one hour. The cumulative rainfall from 5 p.m. on the 8th to 5 a.m. on the 10th was 281.0mm in Seocheon, Chungnam; 248.0mm in Nonsan (Yeonmu); 220.7mm in Geumsan; 170.0mm in Hongseong; 167.0mm in Sejong (Goun); and 156.5mm in Daejeon (Jeongnim).
