Nationwide 'Malaria Alert' Issued (June 18, 2024 ~)
Malaria risk areas (Ganghwa, Paju, Cheorwon) have collected mosquito populations exceeding the standard threshold, leading to a nationwide malaria warning.
This year's alert issuance is one week earlier than the previous year, and we ask for strengthened mosquito control measures and adherence to prevention guidelines.

Malaria Prevention Guidelines
Refrain from outdoor activities at night
V Shower after outdoor activities
Wear bright-colored long clothing
Use of V repellents and insecticides
Removal of V mosquito breeding sites
✓ Insect screen maintenance
If you reside in a malaria risk area and experience symptoms such as fever, please undergo a malaria test at a health center or medical institution.
