[My Personal Workout Gear] EGOJIN Balance Board and Other Home Workout Friends
Since I am in rehabilitation, it is difficult to do other equipment exercises.
As someone who can only do home workouts due to my circumstances
I have the most basic workout items stocked in my room.
I am aiming to write at least once a day!
Among them, the most popular item Egojin Balance Board !
I will also introduce a few items I highly recommend for home workouts.
I use the balance board for two main purposes.
- 1. I have suffered from ankle arthritis, Achilles tendonitis, and calf muscle pain for a long time
- ⇒ To improve ankle flexibility and strengthen the intrinsic muscles of the foot
2. After a long period of bed rest due to hip pain,
Because I lost a lot of gluteal muscle and my leg strength weakened
⇒ To strengthen the gluteus medius and improve balance
The product I use is
At the bottom safety ball Because there are 6 of these.
It prevents the device from slipping or bouncing off.
For people like me who lack balance or quick reflexes
It's perfect! 👍
Just by standing still on the equipment with both feet
It becomes a balance exercise.
It provides a natural workout as you move your strength back and forth between your ankles and thighs.
If you feel it well, you can feel the tension in your abdomen as well.
Patients seeking to reduce calf muscle size, or those with Achilles tendonitis or plantar fasciitis, stand on a slanted board or the edge of a step
You do Achilles tendon stretches, right?
If you hang this on the wall at an angle...
It's totally possible without buying any separate equipment! ^^
(It doesn't slip easily thanks to the safety ball!)
Once you get a little used to it
You can do things like standing on one leg, standing on one leg and doing hip exercises with the other, etc. on this.
It's really great because I can feel the glutes tightening up!
It is difficult to do muscle exercises that involve lifting weights, but
Because it is possible to do exercises using one's own body weight
It is an item that is always stocked in rehabilitation centers as well.
ah!
I'm not yet at the point where I can do squats or lunges on this, but
I can do planks~
I like doing planks while holding the handles and swinging from side to side because I can clearly feel the tension in both sides of my abdomen.
Besides these, other home workout friends...
It's really not expensive, but here's a lifesaver! Ta-da! ^^
# foam roller : Calves, thighs, groin, buttocks, shoulders, back...
If you do this for even just 10 minutes at night before going to sleep, your swelling will improve and your circulation will make a huge difference.
That only those who put it into practice can experience it!!
I highly recommend doing this if you are in your 40s or older!
& Cypress wood massage stick silver
Kneeling with a slightly thinner thickness
If you place it between the back of your thigh and your calf
With effort, the massage intensity is at a decent level.
The pressure hits you perfectly.
This is better than a thick foam roller for massaging the neck as well.
(Foam rollers come in slightly thick and thin types)
It's good to have two~^^)
# Peanut massage ball Gently massage the soles of the feet, neck, etc.
# dumbbell Even if I can't lift heavy weights, when walking,
Or when simply following YouTube home workouts
If you have a 1kg set
You can make it more abundant and effective.
Some people think that exercise is all about equipment! But...
In daily life You can keep it within easy reach every day
While helping to maintain basic health
If it's cheap kids
That is the real star item I think so!
I am looking for the types of exercise I need.
It took a long time to form the habit, but
I am confident that the items introduced are useful to everyone!
It's not expensive or anything special, but...
(Honestly, Daiso is overflowing with decent workout items~)
If you keep it close and use it often, that child will be filial!
As someone who is sincere about regaining my health
I hope everyone stays healthy through exercise.
I wrote a long post.
Stay healthy, everyone! 👍
** Ah! More!
Yoga mats are not for those who specialize in yoga, and
If you need some joint protection for general home workouts
Elasticity, cushioning, and good maintenance
I recommend a TPU material of about 8mm.
