My sleep item that I always use when sleeping is the Dr.pro lip tape.
There are many important things like pillows, stuffed animals, or blankets that you hug or hold while sleeping~
It's been only five months since I started using it after living my whole life without knowing.
To prevent mouth opening
This is Dr. Pro Lip Tape~
I also bought the X-shaped one, but I can't find the company name for this item. They sell it together.
I tend to always open my mouth when I fall asleep due to my oral structure.
So, every morning, the first thing I did was wipe the saliva and pillow stains off my face and pillow... haha
It's on my face. Even though I wash my face, it's quite inconvenient when the blanket or pillow gets wetㅠㅠ
I often change pillow covers, but only occasionally.
If you sleep with your mouth open, oral bacteria will proliferate.
I learned that cavities tend to decay more easily.
No, it's not just that I'm uncomfortable because I'm drooling.
I didn't realize it was also related to my dental health...!!!ㅠㅠ
And it is said to have a negative effect on the quality of sleep.
I've actually woken up several times feeling like I was drooling in my sleep... haha
Oh, geez... Sorry... haha
Some people sleep with their mouths tightly closed.
It's not a must for everyone.
Some people don't realize that their mouth opens while they are sleeping.
There is also a band made of a strap that wraps around the face and chin to prevent the mouth from opening.
There are various lip tape products I recommend right now, but the ones that fix the lower jaw by wearing them seem a bit uncomfortable, and among the many anti-mouth-opening tapes, some are quite expensive for consumables. While searching, I found a Japanese product, but it was very affordable, so I bought the Dr. Pro one.
DoctorPro has a straight shape, and there is also a cross shape available.
The rectangular shape is almost the same in shape and color as the large band.
Except for the part where the philtrum is hollowed out.
So, like the Dai Band, it has a gauze-like layer in the center, which prevents direct adhesion to the lips, and I found that to be good.
The X-shaped design involves full adhesion, so it also adheres to the lips.
Since it was originally made for contact with the skin, there was little irritation.
It feels more effective at making me keep my mouth closed than the straight type. Haha, I think the review for this one is better too, but I used the straight type faster, and it has six more pieces, so I think I'll stick to only the straight type from now on.
What should I do if my nose gets blocked or I can't breathe while sleeping? I was worried too.
The adhesion isn't that strong, like duct tape or anything. Haha.
If you do this and a sneeze comes out, your mouth may slightly open and you might sneeze as well. LOL
In the case of a flat type, the middle part does not adhere, so when saliva slightly gets on that area, the adhesive strength significantly decreases by morning.
Still, after sleeping and waking up, it was separated~ I haven't done it before, so I prefer the rectangular shape more.
Now, every morning when I wake up and try to yawn, I first peel this off and throw it in the trash can, and it has become a daily routine. Haha
Sometimes I forget and fall asleep when I'm sleepy, and inevitably it's a mess...ㄱ-
Lip tape, a sleep aid I highly recommend for those who drool while sleeping like me >_<!!
I use it every day, but I wonder if it might not suit my body. Even with shipping costs, I only bought one set for testing purposes.
Still, with 30 or 36 pieces per bag, even buying just one can last for a month~
We recommend trying it out for testing and purchasing in bulk with 10+1 :)
Since one bag costs less than 1,000 won... it's really affordable, so I like it. Haha
