I didn't know there was a crape myrtle like this.

Reading the story of the pink crape myrtles warmed my heart. It is truly impressive that, true to its name meaning "blooming without wilting for a hundred days," it is a flower that brightens our surroundings throughout the summer. In particular, the scenery harmonizing with the tiled roofs of traditional Hanoks allows us to fully experience the beauty of Korean culture. Seeing the blossoms blooming steadfastly even amidst the sweltering heat makes me think that we, too, should live our daily lives a little more brightly and positively. I feel grateful anew for the fact that the comfort and sense of ease provided by a single small flower are so immense.
