Local cable 5,500 a month vs. Netflix subscription

My local cable contract is expiring soon.

I'm debating whether to renew my contract or cancel and subscribe to an OTT service like Netflix for when I want to watch something.

Since it's not my main TV, it's not a smart TV, so the downside is that if I subscribe to Netflix, I have to watch it on my phone haha.

I just leave it on to watch after 9 PM on weekdays out of habit, but I'm wondering if I should keep doing this or not.
