Our family’s field is located on a slight hillside in the mountains.

It's almost like a mountain, haha.

First Dureup of the Year

 

The scent is so wonderful~

Small things are tasty, but things this big are even better.

The aroma and taste are also superb.

 

 

밭에서 따온 첫두릅🌱

 

Wild San Durup is said to be medicinal!

1. A special component called Durup Saponin A stimulates insulin secretion.
It helps reduce blood sugar levels and activates the AMPK enzyme, which is a substance involved in blood sugar regulation.

2. The bitterness of the vine maple (saponin), which inhibits the growth of cancer cells, induces apoptosis (cancer cell suicide), resulting in a strong anticancer effect.

3. Chlorophyll, polyphenols, and lutein components
It is said to be good for joint health as it has anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, as well as pain relief benefits.

4. Potassium, magnesium, lutein, etc., help regulate blood pressure.
It also contains a rich amount of ingredients that help improve blood circulation, such as saponins and chlorophyll.

The sap (volatile components) that comes out of the young shoots of the thistle protects the stomach and aids in stomach motility as a natural digestive aid.
It is said to stimulate the appetite during spring.

6. The fatigue recovery ability of vitamin C and asparagine.
It also helps when you're feeling sluggish due to spring fatigue.

7. Not only dietary fiber but also foods high in protein content
It helps maintain muscle for macrobiotic vegetarians like me.

8. Rich in vitamin D and magnesium, and also abundant in calcium, which is essential for bone formation, helping to maintain bone density and prevent osteoporosis.
