I have been suffering from a cough for over a week. It seems to get better and then worse again, and this cold is quite persistent.
My neighborhood sister gave me freshly made ginger juice, so I mixed it with the ginger syrup I have at home and am drinking it. My cough has worsened and then improved, but I don't know if ginger tea is effective or not. I drink about one or two cups a day, but is it okay to drink more frequently? I feel like ginger might be toxic. How much should I consume daily to effectively treat a cough and cold?
