I went there for my child's acne treatment. At other dermatology clinics, they said we should use their own specialty cosmetics first (you know how expensive clinic cosmetics are, right? It costs more because you have to buy them in sets), and if the condition doesn't improve after applying them, they would proceed with acne extraction and medication all at once. (Even extractions cost a bit per session.) At "Techno Yonsei Dermatology," however, they prescribed medication first and suggested we monitor the progress. They explained that many people improve with medication alone, that extractions are expensive and time-consuming every time, and most importantly, that extracting doesn't stop acne from coming back; it just causes it to reappear. They said we should consider extraction only if the medication is ineffective and comedones or cystic acne continue to appear.
I felt confident and at ease because it seemed like they weren't over-treating.
It is great that the nurses also give accurate answers to my questions.
My child's skin has improved a lot since visiting the dermatologist, and I would like to recommend it because they don't over-treat.
