Doosan Robotics announced on the 15th that they have introduced a robot capable of preparing 500 servings of fried food for school meals within two hours.

Doosan Robotics held a demonstration of the school meal-type frying robot in Daegu on the 13th in collaboration with 977 Robotics, a partner company in the food and beverage sector, at Palgong Elementary and Middle School in Daegu.

Using the frying robot, six frying baskets can be operated simultaneously, allowing approximately 500 servings of fried food to be completed within two hours.

The company explained that oil replacement and floor cleaning are easy, and the high space efficiency allows for easy application to existing dining rooms.

It is also possible to reduce exposure to smoke and high-concentration fine dust generated during cooking by more than 50%, and to prevent accidents among cooks such as musculoskeletal and respiratory diseases caused by repetitive motions, heat stroke, burns, and other incidents.

Earlier, Doosan Robotics supplied a group meal frying robot to Chuncheon Hansam High School in Gangwon, together with 977 Robotics.
