I don't think I should even pursue a relationship with chronic depression.
When you are experiencing chronic depression, dating can often feel burdensome. You might keep thinking, "I'm struggling this much, can I maintain a good relationship with someone else? Am I going to be a burden to my partner?" Even if you have feelings of love, controlling your emotions can be overwhelming, making you hesitate about starting a relationship.

Sometimes I worry that my depression might hurt the other person, and I think that being alone might be better because I might make things difficult for my partner. As a result, I find it hard to summon the courage to start a relationship.
However, there's no need to give up on love just because you're feeling depressed. In fact, a relationship where you understand and rely on each other can often be a great source of strength. It's okay not to be perfect. As long as you accept yourself as you are little by little and have the intention to communicate in a way that doesn't burden each other, that's enough.
If there is someone with whom I can honestly talk about my condition, we can move forward together. Love doesn't have to be perfect; even if you're lacking or imperfect, everyone deserves to be loved. I hope you won't be too afraid.
