(Concern) Effectiveness of traditional Korean medicine diet

Every summer, when my belly fat starts to appear, I always worry about traditional Korean medicine dieting. I hear a lot of stories about taking herbal pills and getting acupuncture for weight loss, so I am genuinely interested. However, the cost is not cheap... If it really works, I would love to try it ㅠㅠ And I also heard there are side effects, such as heart palpitations and insomnia... So I am hesitant. Has anyone experienced effective results?
