The foul odor has worsened.

Gaining weight worsens the smell of flatulence, body odor, and foot odor. Consuming a lot of fats increases the number of harmful bacteria in the gut, making fart odors more toxic. Meat contains high levels of fat and oil, which take longer to fully digest compared to other foods. The longer food stays in the intestines, the longer fermentation lasts, increasing the likelihood of foul-smelling gas. When people gain weight, they also develop strong odor in the armpits. Sweat glands in the armpits release not only sweat but also fats and sebum, which are broken down by skin bacteria, producing bad odors. Eating foods high in fat makes the sebaceous glands more active, intensifying the smell. People who gain weight may also experience stronger foot odor because increased fat reduces space in the shoes, leading to poor ventilation and higher moisture retention.

 

Shortness of breath and worsened snoring

When you gain weight, even a slight movement can cause shortness of breath and labored breathing. This is because fat surrounds the chest wall, reducing its elasticity. When elasticity decreases, it becomes difficult to breathe properly as air cannot enter and exit the lungs sufficiently during inhalation and exhalation. Additionally, if you suddenly start snoring or your snoring worsens, it may be a sign that fat has accumulated in the airway. As body fat increases, the thickness of the neck also thickens, and fat around the airway inside the neck increases as well. When this narrows the air passage and causes vibrations, snoring occurs.

 

Clothes stain lasts a long time

If your body swells more easily than usual or the swelling lasts a long time, it indicates weight gain. When fat cells increase in size, blood circulation becomes poor. As a result, waste removal is hindered, causing the body to swell easily. When the body is swollen, marks left on the skin also do not disappear easily. However, if sock or underwear marks persist for several hours, it may not be weight gain but rather other conditions such as hypothyroidism, and it is advisable to visit a hospital for diagnosis.

    살찌면 몸에 변화가 많이 큰 거 같아요. 참 신기하네요. 살이 찌면 혈액순환이 잘 안 돼서 그런지 냄새도 나고 악취가 심해지고 코골이도 심해진다니.. 살은 역시 하등 쓸모가 없는 거네요.
