Goo Bon-jun, Chairman of LX Group, gave 100 million won to an employee who became a father of 'your twins'
Wow.. in this day and age..
It's incredible that you have quadruplets when even one is difficult.
Even though it's hard when raising them, the joy and happiness seem to be four times greater.
These days, the low birthrate issue is a hot topic... It's nice to hear some heartwarming news after a while, haha.
The chairman donated 100 million won, haha.
Cute quadruplets~ Wishing them to grow up healthy and strong^^
Chairman Gu Bon-jun of LX Group gave 100 million won to an employee who had quadruplets.
According to LX Holdings on the 7th, Chairman Koo Bon-joon recently gifted 100 million won in childbirth encouragement funds to Jeong Jae-ryong, a senior member of LX Hausys Cheongju Purchasing Team who recently had quadruplets, and his wife, Ms. Gamisoo, on the 6th.
Senior Jeong and his wife gave birth to quadruplets—Seoha (son), Sihwa (daughter), Doha (son), and Yulha (daughter)—on September 13th. The quadruplets received care from medical staff in the neonatal intensive care unit incubator and were all safely embraced by their family in mid-last month.
Chairman Gu also sent a surprise congratulatory message along with the childbirth encouragement fund. In the message, he said, "Sincere congratulations on becoming the loving father and mother of quadruplets," and "Wishing health to your quadruplets, who will grow up as great joy in your family, and looking forward to their vigorous and bright growth stories."
Chairman Gu has long recognized the seriousness of the low birthrate issue and has been contemplating ways for companies to lead efforts to overcome it. As Chairman Gu's firm commitment to encouraging childbirth has been publicly announced through the distribution of childbirth incentives, it is expected that LX Group will also actively begin institutional improvements related to childbirth and parenting, as well as establishing a family-friendly organizational culture.
An LX Group official stated, "This is a crucial time to improve awareness and foster social consensus on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting," and added, "LX Group will also actively participate in the corporate efforts to address the low birthrate."
Meanwhile, Senior Manager Jung Jae-ryong's affiliated company LX Housys also provides a separate childbirth encouragement fund of 50 million won. LX Housys delivered the childbirth encouragement fund to Senior Manager Jung at the Cheongju factory on the 6th to celebrate the joyful occasion of his quadruple birth. Senior Manager Jung's family will receive a total of 150 million won in childbirth encouragement funds, with 100 million won from Chairman Gu and 50 million won from his affiliated company.
LX Hausys learned of Senior Jung's pregnancy with quadruplets earlier this year and actively supported her to ensure the healthy birth of the children. For example, in September, to ease Senior Jung's burden of preparing for childbirth, the company assisted in transferring her to a support department that allows her to work daytime shifts from the production department, which normally operates on a three-shift system including day and night shifts.
Senior Jeong said, "I received an unexpected and great celebration from Chairman Gu Bon-joon and many members of the company, so I am still in shock but truly happy," and added, "For our couple, quadruplets are a miracle and a blessing, and since we have received congratulations and interest from many people, we will raise them healthily in the future."
