I visited a dermatology clinic to get treatment for my toenail fungus. I applied a gel-like medication in a glass bottle, similar to nail polish, to my toenails, but the effects were slow. After consulting, I was told there is a Japanese topical medication available. They also recommended an oral pill taken once a week. Since the liver needs time to detox, I was advised to check for side effects while taking it. I plan to try it for now. Toenail fungus is said to be caused by coldness because warm blood doesn't reach the toes, but maybe it's because I go barefoot most of the winter since wearing socks makes my feet feel cramped.
