Sesaminol inhibits the accumulation of LDL (low-density) cholesterol in blood vessels, protecting the vessels, while sesamin inhibits cholesterol absorption in the small intestine, lowering blood cholesterol levels. 3. Garlic

4. Tangerine

Tangerines contain vitamin C and citric acid. Vitamin C boosts immunity, while citric acid helps relieve fatigue and purify the blood. Additionally, the white fibrous layer and pulp inside the tangerine peel contain vitamin P, which strengthens capillaries. They are also rich in potassium, which helps eliminate unnecessary sodium from the body.

5. Squid

Squid contains taurine. Taurine suppresses the sympathetic nervous system's action that raises blood pressure and increases the strength of heart contractions, thereby increasing the amount of blood pumped from the heart. Additionally, it is effective in preventing arrhythmia and heart failure.
