Scaling Review at Dr. Kwon Dental Clinic in Seoul

After seeing the Cashdoc Dental Review Event, I decided to go to the dentist, so I went today and this is a hot review.

The dental clinic I visited is Kwon Dental Clinic in Jung-gu, Seoul.

 

I like Kwon Dental Clinic because of its comfortable atmosphere.

The doctor is kind and provides thorough treatment without overtreating.

I had braces, so I have retainers on my lower teeth. Because of these wires, tartar often builds up on my lower teeth.

It's so uncomfortable even when brushing my teeth that I really want to take the wire off... but I can't.

Instead, I get scaling done twice a year. The second time, I only do it on my lower teeth.

Every time I go, they are very friendly, and when I go for scaling, they always check for cavities first.

So, going for scaling is essentially a regular checkup.

 

I went today for the first time in a year, and luckily there were no cavities, I just got scaling done.

There is no tingling sensation, but when I scale, I get that creepy feeling every time I do it and I can't get used to it.

Since it doesn't hurt or sting after doing it, I can tell that your scaling skills are good.

Even though I had my upper and lower teeth treated very thoroughly, it was finished sooner than I thought.

My appointment was at 11:30, but I finished the treatment in 10 minutes and paid and left at 41 minutes lol

 

Why scaling is necessary

No matter how hard you brush, tartar builds up in places where the toothbrush cannot reach, where saliva and food debris meet, and the hardened tartar does not fall off naturally and cannot be removed by brushing.

Also, tartar can irritate the gums and cause gum disease, and in severe cases, it can cause bleeding and receding gums... and it can also cause bad breath.

so Scaling is once a year It's definitely a good idea to get it done! It's covered by health insurance, so the burden is less.

 

Sometimes after scaling

Some people say that their teeth seem to be gapped or have gaps.

In fact, it feels like a lot of tartar has built up and a gap has been created by removing the tartar.

What happened was just an illusion, it's just tartar... haha

There are many people who misunderstand, so don't worry about it. It is covered by insurance once a year, so I hope you all get scaling done.
