๐Ÿค• Story ๐Ÿค• Methods for treating back pain

Hello, I have been living with back pain since I was a teenager.

I've even drunk disgusting, poop-like water that would make you want to vomit if you heard about it. When I was young, my mom would give it to me along with peppermint candies, saying it was medicine, so I thought it was medicine even though it smelled like poop. I only realized it was actually poop water when I became an adult... I wonder how much my mom must have suffered to make that.

And until I turned 40, I really hadn't been to any hospital. I had MRI scans, tried chiropractic treatment, tailbone injections, visited traditional Korean medicine clinics, and finally went to an orthopedic surgeon who is a cousin of a friend. Before that, I used to visit hospitals 3-4 times a year, but I haven't been to one in over four years now.

First, I realized that there is a doctor who suits me, and above all, I honestly understood that your back is not a disease that heals on its own. If you're in pain, go to the hospital and take medicine; if the pain lessens, apply a patch; and whether it's hiking, cycling, or walking, do exercise as long as it doesn't strain your back. Honestly, when I accepted that I couldn't get better easily, I thought, "If it hurts, just go to the hospital," and that made me feel more at ease.

And if I feel a little pain, I try applying a patch; if it gets worse, I go to the hospital for a check-up and take medicine. As I keep doing this, five years have passed without going to the hospital.

It may vary from person to person, but I think my condition is improving because I maintain good posture and exercise regularly. I hope everyone keeps exercising diligently and overcomes their illness.
