If you haven't applied cosmetics to your neck and hands so far, start now. The skin on the neck and the back of the hands is thinner than on the face and has fewer oil glands, making it easily dry. You should apply moisturizing products as carefully as you do on your face. After washing your hands, generously apply moisturizer to your nails, the back of your hands, and up to your wrists. Pressing firmly between your fingers to promote blood circulation also helps improve skin elasticity.
After washing your face, it is also good to apply nourishing cream up to your neck. Instead of applying from top to bottom, gently sweep upward from bottom to top to prevent neck wrinkles. If you have a habit of taking a hot shower every morning, change it. You should wash your neck and hands with lukewarm water to slow down skin aging. Washing with hot water reduces sebum production, making the already dry skin on the neck and hands even drier and more prone to wrinkles. Be careful when drying with a towel. Do not rub the skin harshly; instead, gently press to remove moisture. The neck should be especially cared for in the evening. If you have applied makeup to match your face color, thoroughly cleanse to remove all makeup residues. Do not scrub the cleanser vigorously on the neck; instead, wash from bottom to top as if lifting.
Maintaining proper posture regularly is also helpful. Staying with your head bowed for a long time inevitably causes wrinkles to form on the folded skin of the neck. When walking, do not look at the ground; keep your back straight and hold your head upright. Walk with your gaze directed slightly upward rather than downward. Do not use an excessively high pillow when sleeping. It is also forbidden to lie on your side for extended periods while watching TV or using your mobile phone. If you do not lie in an upright position, wrinkles tend to form easily around the neck.
