It was red right after I got the anti-inflammatory injection, and once it subsided somewhat, the brown discoloration lasted longer than I expected. This was also a dermatology clinic with clear pros and cons. The advantage was that inflammation subsided quickly with just one injection, and the recovery speed was also relatively fast, but The downside was that although the discoloration marks have disappeared now, at the time they lasted so long that I was worried they wouldn't go away. The extraction method was the same as at the third-ranked hospital, Doctors, where they manually extracted the tissue. Still, it was decent for urgently treating inflammation. No. 1 Seocho Kim Myung-ae Dermatology Clinic The place I was most satisfied with was Kim Myung-ae Dermatology! True to its name, this is a dermatology clinic with a board-certified dermatologist with 40 years of experience. It was a hospital that gave off a professional vibe from the outside; although the exterior is old, the interior is clean. Before getting the injection. The size was average, but that chin acne had been there for about a month, and the inside was very hard. First of all, it really subsided quickly after I got the anti-inflammatory injection here. Usually, it takes a day or two to see results, but here, the acne areas flattened out immediately after the injection! And what I was most satisfied with was the extrusion method. At other hospitals, the doctor would squeeze it out by hand, but here, they used a needle to make just a tiny hole to drain the pus. So the extraction itself was barely painful, and since they didn't squeeze it by hand, there was no skin irritation, which I really liked. If you squeeze it with your hands, not only the acne area but also the surrounding skin turns extremely red. Manual extraction involves squeezing until no more pus comes out, which can be irritating, but here, it felt like they cleanly removed only the pus, so my skin was less red after the procedure and recovered quickly!! These are photos I took the day after and the day after getting the injection. Maybe because I didn't squeeze it out manually, it healed completely in just two days👍🏻 And another difference from the two hospitals mentioned above is that there was no separate prescription for oral medication. I was surprised that there was no medication, but the inflammation subsided quickly even without taking any. The size of the acne and the condition of the inflammation were similar to before, but since it healed so fast without needing to take any medicine, I felt that they only provide treatment that is truly necessary. Whenever I get an anti-inflammatory injection, the discoloration usually lasts for a few days because it is an injection, but at Kim Myung-ae Dermatology, the discoloration disappeared quickly, so I was most satisfied. Of course, even at the same hospital, the results of anti-inflammatory injections can vary depending on the condition of the skin on that day, and reactions will differ from person to person. However, based on my personal experience receiving treatments at various places, the recovery speed and satisfaction levels definitely vary from clinic to clinic because the methods used—such as extraction techniques and medication prescriptions—differ. Since anti-inflammatory injections are steroids, it is not good to get them frequently. I prefer a dermatology clinic where I can be completely cured with just one treatment, so I was most satisfied with Kim Myung-ae Dermatology, and in that regard, I ranked it as number one. I hope my review will be of at least some help to those of you who are urgently considering anti-inflammatory injections at a dermatology clinic because of pustular acne!

First, let me introduce Yonsei Ain Dermatology in Seoul. It is a dermatology clinic located in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The interior is very neat, and the facilities are clean. It is located right in front of a subway station, making it easy to find and convenient to access via public transportation. It is a clinic that my entire family visits, and we have received laser treatments there. My parents received the treatments before me. The first was a treatment to remove dark spots (lentigo) in middle age! As my parents passed their late 50s and were just entering their 60s, the blemishes on their faces began to deepen. My mother, in particular, had quite a few brown spots on her face. In reality, they were darker than they appear in photos. Honestly, I was quite worried before visiting. I was concerned about whether laser treatments would be suitable for my parents' age group, whether there would be any pain or side effects, and whether they might be recommended ineffective treatments. However, during the consultation, the director explained the blemishes very thoroughly. I thought what was on my mother's face was just simple blemishes, but it turned out to be dark spots! To be honest, I didn't really know what dark spots were, and that was the first time I learned what they were. I found it easy to distinguish between melasma and age spots; you can think of melasma as darker and larger than freckles, while age spots are dark, raised spots that look like warts. However, the cost is a bit higher than other lasers accordingly. My mother received treatment to remove a large melasma on her cheekbone. After the laser treatment, you have to wear a Duoderm regenerative bandage for two weeks! She found this a little inconvenient. Since this Duoderm gets a bit dirty over time 🥹, you visit the dermatologist again in two weeks to have it removed. The dark spots come off with the Duoderm, completely eliminating them. As you can see in the Before/After photos, the dark spots on the brown spots have completely disappeared. There was a slight redness when the Duoderm was first removed, but it subsided over time. My aunt, who saw my mom, also got her dark spots removed haha. My aunt's dark spots were darker than my mom's, but they all disappeared after receiving the Repot laser treatment as well. This is the dark spot that came off with my aunt's Duoderm. And my dad too!! Following my mom and aunt, he received laser treatment. My dad's dark spots were larger and darker than theirs, and he also had a lot of skin tags. The doctor didn't just use the same laser for everyone; he explained that the skin tags could be treated cleanly with a regular laser instead of Repot, depending on the skin condition, so my dad received both types of lasers. Before: Recovering after removing the Duoderm. After: Looks super clean, right? For reference, this was my dad's first time getting this kind of dermatological procedure, but after the treatment, he was 200% satisfied! He really loved it. What my family was most satisfied with was that the hair was completely removed with just one laser session, rather than having to visit the clinic multiple times. The director seems to be very skilled. For reference, all three of them said they felt no pain. Seeing my parents and aunt, I decided to get underarm laser hair removal! Underarm hair removal is a really simple procedure among laser treatments, so the treatment time is short and not burdensome at all. Although I didn't have very thick hair, my pores were on the larger side, so the hair roots were noticeable... but after the laser treatment, the so-called "pencil lead" look completely disappeared. Here are the before and after photos. The underarm laser I received was Apogee, and since there are so many different types of hair removal lasers, rather than saying one is the best, I think it is fine to choose based on the equipment and price of the clinic you visit. Laser hair removal usually requires 4 to 5 sessions as standard; I received 5, but additional treatments may be necessary depending on your individual hair roots. I didn't get any additional treatments because the results were so good. Since it is hair removal, the effects aren't permanent, so I might need laser treatments again over time, but so far, the results are holding up well. It was the first time for all four of us—my parents, my aunt, and me—to get laser treatments for dark spots and hair removal, and we were very satisfied because the spots were removed much more cleanly than expected. I especially loved that the results for hair removal are visible right away. The price is affordable, and it only stings a little during the first one or two sessions; after that, there is no pain, so I highly recommend it. They say the RePot laser has more advantages than disadvantages, except for the need to wear a DuoDerm bandage for two weeks. My parents also look much cleaner after the treatment as their blemishes have cleared up. What I liked most was that the director didn't just perform the procedure; they explained the process and tailored it to our skin condition. It wasn't a factory-style treatment where everyone was treated the same way! Since my whole family was satisfied with this clinic, I think I can truly call it the "Dermatology Clinic of a Lifetime"!

The dental hygienists who guided us were very kind, and the director who treated us was truly like an angel. I really liked how they comforted me, worried that it might hurt during the jaw joint treatment (it made me feel like a baby, haha). The director who provided the consultation also explained the cause of my jaw joint pain and the aftercare methods well. I was told that in my case, it was stress-induced jaw joint pain.
