Changed my eating habits... The reason blood vessels improved and I lost weight?
I remember being very surprised three years ago when I was diagnosed with borderline hypertension during a health checkup, and I was told I also had hyperlipidemia. I kept telling myself I needed to manage it, but after living with my established eating habits for about half a year, changing them proved to be quite difficult. They say that obesity also affects blood vessels, and I know that improving blood circulation should be a priority, but I still find myself craving刺激 foods. Even as I see my belly fat increasing, I can't seem to reflect on my habits.
Then, at the beginning of the next year, I saw that my cholesterol levels in the health checkup results had increased by about half compared to the previous year, and I decided that I really needed to manage it now.
To prevent blood sugar spikes, I started eating fermented cabbage after brushing my teeth before meals. Next, I supplement with boiled eggs for protein. Finally, I eat carbohydrates such as potatoes or mixed grain rice.
Since I followed a diet in the order of vegetables-protein-carbohydrates, my digestion became more comfortable and I lost 1.5 inches of belly fat. I also visited the internal medicine department for a recheck of my cholesterol levels, and they had decreased to near normal levels.
If you're someone close to middle age like me, why not change your eating habits instead of just worrying about belly fat!!!
