Is there a way to overcome ADHD?
I am struggling a lot because of difficulties caused by ADHD. Every day is really overwhelming, and I feel hopeless about how I can improve this situation.
First of all, I have very poor concentration. When I work or study, my mind is always distracted, and after a little while, other thoughts keep coming up one after another. In this situation, I don't know how to focus properly.
Additionally, I make many mistakes due to impulsive behavior. Problems often arise in my relationships with those around me. I tend to speak too hastily, making others uncomfortable, or act thoughtlessly, which I often regret. I want to improve these aspects, but it's not easy.
We are also very concerned about medication treatment for ADHD. Even if we think taking medication might help, we are worried about side effects and long-term effects. Additionally, we are afraid of becoming dependent on the medication. What should we do?
I have tried to improve my lifestyle habits for ADHD, but it is difficult to practice consistently. To maintain a regular routine, I need to manage myself better, but it's not as easy as it sounds. I also tried exercising and adopting healthy eating habits, but I gave up quickly.
