Ultherapy 300-shot lifting review, I was scared, but it wasn't a big deal.
I was worried because my skin seemed to lack elasticity, but after getting 300 shots of Ultherapy, I am satisfied and want to share my experience.
I also share the differences between Ultherapy and Thermage that I considered before the procedure.
Please take a look at the review of the elasticity management after the procedure, which I also shared along with my one-month follow-up~~
Have you ever felt like you've aged overnight?
I felt it. One day, I suddenly had the feeling that my skin was sagging. ㅠ.ㅠ
I'm not the type to pay much attention to skincare normally, but once something catches my eye, I keep thinking about it.
So instead of stressing out like this, let's go to the dermatologist!!! These days, many men are also going!!!
While researching which procedure to receive, I narrowed it down to Ultherapy and Thermage.
What is Ultherapy?
Applying ultrasound to the deep layer, the fascia layer, to tighten the skin and achieve a lifting effect.
What is Thermage?
Using high-frequency heat to act on the dermis layer of the skin, it promotes collagen production, enhancing skin elasticity and improving brightness.
Ultimately, both are related to skin elasticity, but since I wanted to improve skin sagging and overall contour, I ultimately chose Ultherapy.
The doctor also gave me the tip that it's okay to undergo the procedure about once or twice a year and to alternate between Ultherapy and Thermage.
I didn't do the Ultherapy 300 shots on my entire face; I only treated the areas I was concerned about and wanted to improve.
He showed me while drawing lines on his face with a pen.
Until then, I was so worried that I might be sick.
So I was also debating whether to undergo sedation anesthesia or not, since I don't have a good vein for it and it takes time to wake up from anesthesia, so I just decided to go ahead without sedation anesthesia and had the procedure.
Getting 300 shots of Ultherapy hurts!! It can't be painless, haha
But, I didn't regret thinking I should have had general anesthesia. It was just about tolerable.
The pain levels varied depending on the area.
Anyway, after receiving the procedure, I had a little swelling.
I heard that some people get bruises, but I was relieved that it was only swelling.
After about a week, I started to feel like I was settling in, and wow, I really felt like I became stronger, which was really amazing.
I endured the pain and received Ultherapy treatment, and I believe that proper aftercare is necessary to maintain the effects for a long time.
I consistently used a home skincare product, applying a firming cream to deeply penetrate the skin, for a month.
Thanks to this, the sagging that used to bother me when I looked in the mirror is now hardly noticeable.
