I also tend to have migraines.
I wrote about the efforts I made to alleviate a headache that lasts a long time.
I'm not sure if migraines are hereditary, but my mother has severe migraines.
So I guess I also have migraines.
On days when I worry a lot, feel stressed, or have many concerns, migraines tend to come.
It seems a little different from a mild headache.
For someone like me with migraines, the pain feels like a sharp, stabbing sensation in one part of the head, as if being pricked with a needle... the pain is intense enough to make my forehead feel tense.
And continuously and steadily...
So I never stop searching for headache medicine and take it whenever I have a migraine.
My household always has migraine medication available in the medicine cabinet.
The Taksen I first tried is really a direct hit for migraines.
Once, I went to buy Taksen, but there was no product available.
I was prescribed Trispen with a different product, but this medication is also similar in effect to Taksen, so it's okay.
Both are liquid capsules, so they seem to be absorbed quickly.
I looked into the causes of migraines, and it seems that the exact cause has not been identified.
However, blood flow to the head increases, causing the blood vessels to dilate.
The vascular hypothesis suggests that nerve fibers in the brain are compressed, leading to headaches.
It is said to be a long-recognized trigger factor for migraines.
To overcome migraines, taking medication properly is also important.
It is said that migraines can be prevented by avoiding factors that trigger them.
For example, emotional stress (I also get migraines when I am very stressed), lack of sleep, fatigue, noise, and menstruation.
Foods that can trigger migraines include cheese, sausages, ham, bacon, chocolate, and caffeinated foods.
Ah, these are all my favorite foods... It's better to avoid processed foods and foods containing caffeine.
While carefully considering these factors, I will also try to reduce stress in order to overcome my migraines.
