I started my diet with the mindset of consistently sticking to three main principles.

 

First, on weekdays, delivery food and alcohol are prohibited.

Third, have a simple protein-focused meal on weekday evenings.

 

 

These three things were started with the determination to protect them even if the sky splits apart.

Fortunately, I changed jobs in March, so my workplace is close to home, and I had plenty of free time.

I buy ingredients for salad bars about once or twice a week and prepare five days' worth of salads in advance.

Whether it's rain or a typhoon, even if the weather is insanely hot and unbearable, I always ate and went outside no matter what.

Even if I already completed the ten thousand steps, I always went out and repeated walking and running for an hour.

This was the hardest part, but actually, when I started dieting, it was May, so it was really good for exercising.

But I went out with an umbrella and walked and ran.

I thought of it as a routine I absolutely had to do, and it became manageable.

I cooked various kinds of food.

On days when I crave snacks, I make homemade treats using sweet potatoes or ingredients rich in dietary fiber.

 

I also really loved flour, so it was really difficult for me to quit eating it.

I think I replaced flour with oatmeal or whole wheat instead.
