Paju Saeichi Dental Clinic is a dental clinic located in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, specializing in orthodontics and implants.
The dental clinic is quite large and the interior is clean.
As it says “Since 1995,” the director boasts 30 years of experience, but he is younger than you might think and is very meticulous.
Please never overtreat, only provide necessary treatment, and provide thorough explanations.
I have been going to that director's dental clinic for a long time, so he knows the condition of my teeth just by looking at them. So, if I go there with any discomfort, he immediately catches it and provides excellent treatment.
1. Splint correction
I went to the hospital because I had a clicking/cracking sound in my jaw and mouth, and it turned out to be temporomandibular joint disorder (a condition where the jaw joint occlusion is not aligned properly and a sound is made).
The first treatment for temporomandibular joint disease was splint correction.
This was the first time I learned about splints, and they explained it to me in detail at the hospital.
If it worked well with that brace, it would have ended up with a splint, but it didn't work well for me, so I ended up getting braces.
2. Orthodontics
I didn't get braces when I was a minor, I got them when I was 20. They said that if you get them after becoming an adult, the treatment period would be long, but it really was long... It took a whole 3 years.
It took a little longer because I had temporomandibular joint and malocclusion, but they always gave me thorough treatment at my regular checkups for 3 years.
3. Recalibration
Even after orthodontic treatment is over, teeth have a tendency to return to their original state.
A few years after I finished my braces, my lower teeth became crooked.
When I went for a regular checkup, the director recommended re-orthodontic treatment first, so I had only my lower teeth re-orthodontic treatment.
The revision took two years.
4. Present
After five years of orthodontic treatment, I now have an orthodontic retainer attached to the inside of my lower teeth.
It looks straight from above, but actually, when you look at it from the front, it's not 100% fully straight...
I've suffered so much for the past five and a half years that I'm tired of further corrections, so I'm satisfied with this state.
Still, compared to before, my jaw joint has improved and my teeth are much more aligned, so although the orthodontic treatment took a really long time, I am satisfied.
I still regularly visit the dentist to get scaling done.
These days, dental hygienists do scaling (of course, I know it's okay for dental hygienists to do it)
This is a dental clinic that is even more trustworthy because the director himself does all the scaling!
