(Concern) I am curious about the correct method for measuring blood pressure accurately at the hospital.

About a month ago, I measured the blood pressure with the device at my parents' house about five times, and the readings were within the normal range.

This week, I went to the hospital and received a workplace health check-up.

I measured it with a blood pressure monitor usually seen in hospital lobbies.

At first, it showed 153/101, so I told the person in charge of measurement that it couldn't be this high, but they said the machine doesn't lie...

After resting and re-measuring, the blood pressure was 145/95, so I drank some water and rested a bit longer, then measured again and it was 138/85.

Is the machine the problem?

A hospital that conducts workplace health screenings with machines that show large measurement differences each time, unlike those that do it this way.

Is there a specific measurement method used exclusively at specialized hospitals?

저도 이제 혈압도 슬슬 관리를 잘 해야하는데.. 기계 오차가 있네요. 병원에서도 그냥 의사가 직접 해주던데요.
