Can my second-year middle school son with frequent recurrent stomatitis be treated with traditional Korean medicine?
My middle school son has been suffering from stomatitis.
Stomatitis refers to inflammation occurring in the mucous membrane areas inside the mouth.
When stomatitis is severe, it is often necessary to visit an otolaryngologist for treatment and take antibiotics to recover. However, there are concerns about antibiotic resistance, and finding and treating the root cause is believed to prevent recurrence. I am considering trying traditional Korean medicine treatment—can a recurrence-free traditional treatment really be possible?
This is the current condition of the child.
They returned in this condition after completing a four-night, five-day full training yesterday.
It hurts so much that eating and especially brushing my teeth are very painful and difficult.
It looks serious enough that I need to go to the hospital.
So, I am considering traditional Korean medicine treatment. After researching, I found that in traditional medicine, when there is heat syndrome in the stomach or heart, it can be due to weakness of qi and blood, or excessive stress leading to anger syndrome manifesting as heat syndrome.
In other words, they judge that the overall immunity of the body has decreased and they perform traditional Korean medicine treatments to boost immunity.
Since immunity is the most important factor for health, can traditional Korean medicine treatment truly help eliminate recurrent stomatitis without relapse?
I feel so sorry. ㅠㅠ
