Tips for finding hospitals with affordable shingles vaccination costs!!! Must-know!!!

Today, my wife and I received our first shingles vaccination. As everyone knows, shingles often occurs in the summer, and if contracted, the pain and aftereffects can be severe. Especially for those over 50, I strongly recommend getting vaccinated. The cost of the shingles vaccine varies depending on the product used, so I suggest searching "shingles vaccination" on Naver to find a lot of information, and then decide on the product you want to get. Once you've made your decision, my tip is to find the hospital near your residence that offers the lowest price for that product. As shown in the attached photo, I chose a vaccine called SkyJoster, and after searching on Naver and going to the "Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service > Non-insured Medical Expenses > Non-insured Medical Expenses" tab, you can find hospitals that carry the product and their vaccination costs in any area, including your own. Call the cheapest hospital you find to confirm and then go. The lower price does not mean lower quality; it appears that hospitals set their own prices for the same product. For reference, I chose SkyJoster, and when I searched for nearby hospitals, the vaccination prices ranged from 120,000 to 160,000 won (mostly around 150,000 won). I went to a clinic in Goryeo Orthopedic Surgery that offered it for 120,000 won. Since there were two of us, we saved about 60,000 won. The Review & Assessment Service also provides other non-insured medical expense information, which can be very helpful if used well. Stay healthy, everyone.
