When I get stressed, I usually cope by binge eating. I eat even when I'm not hungry. When I'm feeling down, I eat sweets, and when I feel full, I feel better. But when my stomach hurts so badly I feel like it's going to burst, I start to regret and blame myself. It's a pattern like a hamster wheel. I'm wondering whether I should see a psychiatrist or try to overcome it through hobbies or exercise.
