점점 더 늘어나겠죠 돈많은 외국인들이 많이 들어올 것 같아요 치안도 나쁘지 않고 돈만 있으면 정말 살기좋은 곳이라고 한다더군요
The identity of the foreigner who made a full cash transaction for the '74 billion won' highest price at Banpo Xi
It has been confirmed that the person who purchased the large-sized 'Banpo Xi' apartment in Banpo, Seocho-gu, Seoul, known as the 'Jang Apartment,' for a maximum price of 7.4 billion won is a Uzbekistani national. It appears that he purchased it entirely with cash, and his current address is related to Korea.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's real transaction price disclosure system on the 10th, the 'Banpo Xi' located in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, with a exclusive area of 244㎡ (26th floor), was traded at 7.4 billion won on November 27th of last year, the highest price among similar-sized units. A month earlier, an apartment of the same size (21st floor) was traded at 7.1 billion won, making it 300 million won more expensive.
According to the court registry copy, the owner of the apartment is Uzbekistani A (41). The ownership transfer was completed on the 28th of last month. Since no separate mortgage has been established, it appears that the transaction was made entirely in cash.
Mr. A's current address is in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. When searched on Google Maps, it appears as the "Uzbekistan-Korea Traditional Medicine Treatment Center." According to the related Facebook page, the treatment center promotes traditional Korean medicine by providing acupuncture training to Uzbekistani doctors.
Meanwhile, the number of homes owned by foreigners in Korea has been increasing every year, approaching 100,000 units in the first half of last year. According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "Major Statistics on Foreigners' Housing Ownership," as of the end of June last year, the number of homes owned by foreigners in Korea was 95,058. This accounts for about 0.49% of the total housing stock of 19.55 million units last year. The majority of foreign-owned homes are located in the Seoul metropolitan area, and more than half of the owners are Chinese nationals.
