After getting tested at the hospital, I was diagnosed with pityriasis rosea. Since taking medication didn't make much difference, I underwent UVB treatment. I was worried at first because it was an unfamiliar treatment, but after it healed completely, I was very satisfied with the UVB procedure. Pityriasis rosea As the name suggests, it is a skin condition characterized by rose-colored red rashes appearing on the skin, with no clear cause. Symptoms include intense itching, a burning sensation, and easy swelling. I don't really know why I got it, and no one in my family has pityriasis rosea. I tried drug treatment for a while, but didn't see much effect. I received treatment at the dermatology department of a general hospital and underwent UVB therapy. UVB Simply put, UVB treatment is phototherapy, a laser treatment that exposes the skin to therapeutic ultraviolet rays. It is not a cosmetic laser like Ulthera or lifting lasers used at general dermatology clinics. It is a laser that uses sunlight, so its wavelength is different from that of cosmetic lasers. Since it is a laser used to treat inflammatory skin diseases, it is covered by insurance if you are diagnosed with the condition.
