I was especially stressed because when I took photos, my face looked bigger than before and the fat under my chin stood out more. I had a sharp, stinging pain, like being hit in the bone inside my face, but it wasn't unbearable. Instead, I definitely felt the pain from Ultherapy more strongly along my jawline and below my cheekbones. Especially when passing close to the bone, it felt like a momentary electric shock, but the doctor kept asking if I was okay and proceeded slowly, so it was bearable. Personally, I felt that the pain from Ulthera went in much deeper than from Shurink. But since it felt like it was tightening my skin deep down, I was actually looking forward to the results. The procedure finished faster than I expected. When I looked in the mirror right after it was over, my face was a little red and felt numb, but there was no severe swelling or bruising. And what was surprising was that I immediately felt like my jawline was slightly more defined. I've already had a total of three sessions, including the additional touch-up! They took photos the first time, but maybe because the last one was an add-on, I was secretly glad they didn't! (Yay!) Also, it felt like it finished quickly from start to finish? (It actually did finish quickly.) I started this during last year's Chuseok holiday. Since it had been years since my last procedure, I was really worried, but I liked the initial design better than I expected (though the peeling was a bit severe at the beginning, so I was really stressed about it). I was worried whether the second one would turn out as perfectly to my liking as the first, but surprisingly, the second one turned out even better! 🫢 At first, maybe because I was a bit late for my appointment and waited until my butt practically wore out, I didn't feel much pain. But as the additional sessions progressed, it felt like it hurt more... Also, I usually don't feel much from the sound of the machine, but I got goosebumps and almost fainted. I think it was even worse because the treatment room was a bit cold today. (And administering anesthesia in between sessions is such a thoughtful touch...🥹) Anyway, my second eyebrow tattoo in my life was completed with a total of three sessions, and I plan to get it done here again if I need it in the future! Since I had an appointment in Seoul, I decided to visit a dermatologist near Apgujeong early in the morning to get treatment, so I made a reservation a few days ago and went. --- First Visit & Consultation It was early in the morning so the streets were quiet, and thanks to that I was able to leisurely become one of the first visitors. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly, so I was able to relax. I was able to start off in a good mood because they provided water and snacks while I was filling out the consultation form, and the washroom was conveniently equipped with everything from cleansing products to a Dyson hair dryer. I was able to check my skin age and condition using a skin measuring machine and receive an embarrassing but realistic diagnosis through consultation with the director. I often hear that I look tired all the time, so I told them I wanted to improve it, and as a result, I was recommended Thor Lifting and cheek filler. --- Thor Lifting Treatment It was a high-frequency lifting treatment using a device that resembled Thor's hammer, and there was almost no pain, only a warm feeling. There was a management mode and a director mode, and there was a difference in intensity, so I was able to receive them without much discomfort. It lasted about 10 to 15 minutes, and we had conversations throughout the procedure so I was able to receive the treatment comfortably. As a precaution, I was advised that since it is a hot treatment, it is better to wash your face with warm water, and that to maintain the effect, it is ideal to receive it consistently about once a week.
