Here are my personal top 3 reviews of dermatology clinics in Gangnam, Seoul, that I found effective for acne inflammation injections. My skin isn't inherently acne-prone, but I am the type who gets really big, hard, pustular pimples every now and then. Like what people commonly call a "giant pimple," it festers inside, hurts to the touch, and doesn't go away easily even after time passes. It was incredibly stressful, especially when those kinds of pimples popped up right before an important appointment or schedule. At first, I tried to manage it at home by applying ointment or spot treatments, but these hard, inflammatory pimples often didn't go away on their own. So, in the end, I ended up getting an anti-inflammatory injection after extraction at a dermatology clinic. After visiting several places, I found that even for the same injection, there was quite a significant difference between hospitals. The prices and treatment methods are all different, so perhaps that's why the effects vary as well! So, based on my personal opinion, I have selected three dermatology clinics in Gangnam that were effective. 3rd Place Gangnam Doctors Dermatology Clinic I had high expectations after seeing the pleasant facilities and neat interior... but it took a little while for the inflammation to completely subside after getting the injection here. I visited because of the acne on my forehead. This is the state before getting hit. This photo shows the patient after receiving an anti-inflammatory injection. It was a bit big, but... the inflammation didn't go down even after getting the injection. Eventually, I visited again for the second time and received an additional injection. It was a bit disappointing that it wasn't dealt with immediately. Since anti-inflammatory injections are not covered by insurance, the cost is a burden even for just one shot, but because I got them twice, the expense turned out to be quite a bit higher than I expected. Also, the doctor squeezed it out directly by hand, and it was quite painful. Of course, since it was done hygienically at the hospital, it is different from handling it at home, but the irritation was so intense that while getting it done, I momentarily wondered, "If it's going to be like this, how is this any different from me squeezing it out at home?" Still, after getting two injections, it subsided cleanly and there was almost no discoloration. There were pros and cons. 2nd Place Gangnam Nine Dermatology Clinic I got an injection for my chin acne here. Fortunately, at Nine Dermatology, my acne subsided after receiving just one anti-inflammatory injection! The recovery speed was relatively fast, and the bulging swelling went down immediately. However, there was one drawback, The inflammation went away quickly, but the discoloration lasted quite a while afterward. It was red right after I got the anti-inflammatory injection, and once it subsided somewhat, the brown discoloration lasted longer than I expected. This was also a dermatology clinic with clear pros and cons. The advantage was that inflammation subsided quickly with just one injection, and the recovery speed was also relatively fast, but The downside was that although the discoloration marks have disappeared now, at the time they lasted so long that I was worried they wouldn't go away. The extraction method was the same as at the third-ranked hospital, Doctors, where they manually extracted the tissue. Still, it was decent for urgently treating inflammation. No. 1 Seocho Kim Myung-ae Dermatology Clinic The place I was most satisfied with was Kim Myung-ae Dermatology! True to its name, this is a dermatology clinic with a board-certified dermatologist with 40 years of experience. It was a hospital that gave off a professional vibe from the outside; although the exterior is old, the interior is clean. Before getting the injection. The size was average, but that chin acne had been there for about a month, and the inside was very hard. First of all, it really subsided quickly after I got the anti-inflammatory injection here. Usually, it takes a day or two to see results, but here, the acne areas flattened out immediately after the injection! And what I was most satisfied with was the extrusion method. At other hospitals, the doctor would squeeze it out by hand, but here, they used a needle to make just a tiny hole to drain the pus. So the extraction itself was barely painful, and since they didn't squeeze it by hand, there was no skin irritation, which I really liked. If you squeeze it with your hands, not only the acne area but also the surrounding skin turns extremely red. Manual extraction involves squeezing until no more pus comes out, which can be irritating, but here, it felt like they cleanly removed only the pus, so my skin was less red after the procedure and recovered quickly!! These are photos I took the day after and the day after getting the injection. Maybe because I didn't squeeze it out manually, it healed completely in just two days👍🏻 And another difference from the two hospitals mentioned above is that there was no separate prescription for oral medication. I was surprised that there was no medication, but the inflammation subsided quickly even without taking any. The size of the acne and the condition of the inflammation were similar to before, but since it healed so fast without needing to take any medicine, I felt that they only provide treatment that is truly necessary. Whenever I get an anti-inflammatory injection, the discoloration usually lasts for a few days because it is an injection, but at Kim Myung-ae Dermatology, the discoloration disappeared quickly, so I was most satisfied. Of course, even at the same hospital, the results of anti-inflammatory injections can vary depending on the condition of the skin on that day, and reactions will differ from person to person. However, based on my personal experience receiving treatments at various places, the recovery speed and satisfaction levels definitely vary from clinic to clinic because the methods used—such as extraction techniques and medication prescriptions—differ. Since anti-inflammatory injections are steroids, it is not good to get them frequently. I prefer a dermatology clinic where I can be completely cured with just one treatment, so I was most satisfied with Kim Myung-ae Dermatology, and in that regard, I ranked it as number one. This is where I always come for dermatological procedures. All the staff are friendly, and the doctors are very attentive to my needs. I went today, and they've expanded to the 14th floor. Every time I go, it seems like I'm the only Korean there, and everyone else is foreign, but they still provide excellent care, so I plan to continue going. I've recommended this to many of my friends and family, and I've already been going to several of them! I had a negative perception of factory-style dermatology clinics, but my opinion has changed since going to Pria Clinic. The best part is how friendly the staff is, and they're always great on KakaoTalk and in-person consultations. I highly recommend Pria Clinic! I got Inmode treatment today.

I was worried about what to do because I suddenly felt sick on a public holiday, so I searched online and visited this clinic because I found out they were open. If it hadn't been a public holiday dental clinic, I would have been sad thinking I would have to endure it until Monday, but I am so glad to be able to get treatment! They don't take appointments and accept walk-in only, so there was a short wait, but my turn came quickly. Even though the director was busy and I asked a lot of questions, he explained everything clearly and in an easy-to-understand way, and he was very kind, which I appreciated. Even though it was crowded, the staff were efficient, so I didn't have to wait long for my appointment. The staff were also kind and made me feel comfortable, so I was able to receive treatment without any fear. It is a bit far from my home, but I plan to get my follow-up treatment here as well!

Dr. Lee Dong-gu, the nurses, and the physical therapists are all kind. They always pay meticulous attention during treatment and listen attentively to patients, which always leaves me impressed. I visit regularly to receive treatment for my joints and various other areas. Even though the clinic is always busy with many patients, they remain kind and attentive. I am currently receiving my second knee examination, and I plan to continue treatment due to neck and back pain. Thank you for your meticulous and proper treatment.

Experience a clean and quick skin botox treatment at the new Maypure Clinic Wangsimni branch.
I visited the Maypure Wangsimni branch, a place I always go to because I am concerned about my pores and skin texture. They recently moved to a new location; although it is a bit further from Wangsimni Station than the previous site, the newer building is clean and nice. I booked through Cashdoc, and upon arriving at my scheduled time, I registered at the kiosk. As always, there was no wait; I had a quick consultation with the consultation manager right away and decided to get Skin Botox. After applying numbing cream, a female doctor began the procedure. She kindly asked what my concerns were and performed the treatment meticulously. It did sting a little even with the anesthesia, though. After about 10 minutes of treatment, she finished up, I went back to the kiosk to pay, and that was it! The price is very reasonable, and the service is efficient and straightforward. I hope the Skin Botox works well.

It's located right outside Exit 1 of Gangnam Station, making it incredibly accessible. I'm always nervous about visiting an OB/GYN clinic, but the female doctors here made me feel much more at ease. The waiting area was cozy and clean, like a café, making it comfortable. Best of all, the doctor was calm and friendly, so I could easily ask any questions I had. The fact that he focused only on the essentials without over-treating me was what I found most trustworthy. With nighttime and weekend appointments available, it's a great option for busy professionals. If you're looking for a comfortable OB/GYN clinic near Gangnam, I highly recommend it!

Skin becomes smooth after acne extraction at Seocho-gu Kanghan Dermatology Clinic[4]
I got acne extracted at Kanghan Dermatology Clinic~ I had a lot of pus-filled acne on my chin and cheeks, so I touched them myself and they spread more, so I ended up going to the dermatologistㅠㅠ It was definitely different from squeezing them at home.... I didn't want to touch them for a long time and make them red, but after getting them extracted, the bumps were smoothed out right away, so it felt much better. It felt really cool and nice when I put on a soothing pack ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ In particular, my skin looked much smoother because the sebum and blackheads that had been building up were gone~~ My skin was slightly red for a day or so after getting it done, but it had subsided a lot the next day ㅎㅎㅎ Since my skin is prone to acne breakouts, I thought I should get it managed regularly.
