Varicose veins can worsen and damage leg health, so early detection and treatment are more important than anything else.

The problem is that the worsening of varicose vein symptoms cannot be determined solely by the protrusion of the blood vessels.

If you see prominent veins on the eyes, you might suspect something, but in the case of latent varicose veins, they do not appear outwardly.

Cases where patients are unable to detect themselves are also frequent.

Therefore, it is important to be aware of the main symptoms of varicose veins in the legs, such as leg swelling and cramps.

Remember that in addition to the main symptoms of previously known varicose veins, symptoms such as foot pain or tingling in the legs may also occur. Since conditions such as plantar fasciitis, herniated disc, and arthritis can present with similar symptoms to varicose veins, it is also important to distinguish these conditions.

The fact that persistent leg discomfort does not improve even with regular orthopedic treatment should raise suspicion of varicose veins.

And as you get older, the risk of developing varicose veins increases, so remember the importance of regular exercise and calf stretching.

It is also helpful to keep in mind that office workers who stand for long periods or sit while working should wear medical compression stockings to promote good circulation.
