I had lower extremity vein surgery at Bomnal Clinic.

The results were good and the process was comfortable.

It didn't hurt that much

A month later, during a regular checkup, I had the area that I had not been able to get treated for a while get an injection of medication to clean up the burst blood vessels.

 

Before surgery

 

<1 month after surgery> After an ultrasound examination, the thick leg veins were treated well, and before that, surgery was performed to remove the ruptured veins by injecting an injection.

 

 

Because there were so many places, I checked each area carefully, went into the operating room, gave the area a precise injection, applied Medifoam, and wrapped it with a bandage before leaving.

They say I have to wear the compression stockings for about 3 more days.

But after wearing compression stockings for about 3 days, my back legs were so tight and sore that I had difficulty walking even a little, and I had body aches over the weekend.

So I called the director and he told me to come to the hospital if the injection site gets red, swollen or itchy. But he said there isn't anything like that and that the itching is because it's where the surgery was done and that there's nothing that can be done about it. He said it will get better after a while.

I guess I'll have to wait. As time goes by, it's loosened up and gotten better, but I still feel a little tingly.

<One week after receiving additional injection>

Vein surgery doesn't immediately eliminate the condition. You need to undergo regular checkups once a month and receive treatment with injections. In some cases, additional injections may be required four or five times.

The additional injection cost is only the same as the medical fee (about 6,000 won). It is certain that many of the areas that were severe when I went the second time have faded or disappeared.

They tell me to come in for five or six tests and additional follow-up treatment.

The doctor explained everything very well, and even performed an additional ultrasound examination to confirm the success of the surgery. He even kindly explained the management method. Thank you.
