Soft stir-fried pumpkin with a subtle sweetness characteristic of pumpkin.
While people usually eat plain white porridge, I don't particularly like it, so I looked for an alternative. I thinly sliced some zucchini I had at home and stir-fried it lightly with minimal oil and almost no salt. By adding vegetables that are easy to digest and cooking it myself, the taste was clean yet had a subtle sweetness that I didn't get tired of, and the chewy texture provided just the right amount of satiety.
I don't think you necessarily have to stick to porridge when suffering from enteritis or gastritis. Dishes prepared with mild cooking methods, like stir-fried pumpkin, can be a perfectly good alternative. I would confidently recommend stir-fried pumpkin to those who dislike porridge, as it offers great taste, satiety, and stomach health. Through this experience, I realized once again how important it is to cook and eat food that suits your body's condition, and I plan to soothe my stomach this way whenever it feels sensitive in the future.
