I had a hard time sleeping well this week at night.
I can't sleep well according to my usual pattern all day long, so it interferes with my daily life.
I am a morning person, so I wake up just after 5 o'clock. However, I get very sleepy before 10 o'clock at night.
I get ready to sleep with the kids at 10 o'clock and always sleep, usually getting about 7 hours of deep sleep, and I feel good when I wake up.
But this week, I feel so exhausted that I start feeling sleepy from 9 o'clock. I end up falling asleep while watching dramas and sleep for an hour or two, then wake up. When I wake up, it's hard to fall back into a deep sleep.
It feels like my eyes are closed but my mind is awake... During the day, I get tired, so I drink about two cups of coffee a day.
I don't take naps because I think it might interfere with my nighttime sleep. I go for walks in the afternoon, but I keep experiencing this, so I'm afraid of sleeping at night. Since this situation seems to be repeating, should I consider going to the hospital?
